17th March 2017 — Too many people see failure as an alternative to success. They feel really demotivated when they experience what they see as failure. But everybody encounters failure at one point or another. What really matters is how we react to it and learn from the failure. You will struggle to find any entrepreneur who has had massive success without experiencing failure many times on the way.

Bill Gates watched his first company crumble. Walt Disney was told he lacked creativity. Steve Jobs was booted from his own company. Milton Hershey started three candy companies before Hershey’s.

"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly" — Robert F. Kennedy

Of course constant failure will never result in success. It is so important to learn from our mistakes though and understand the reasons why and move on with our business. If you fear failure you will limit your progress in not just your business but your whole life.

I believe the sweetest victory is the one that was the most difficult. The one that required you to dig deep.

I believe the sweetest victory is the one that was the most difficult. The one that required you to dig deep into your mind set, determination and fight with everything you've got.

Many people avoid the prospect of failure. They are so focussed on not failing that they don't actually aim for success. What they instead settle for is a life of mediocrity. If we look at the worlds business mavericks and sports legends of today, failure is a powerful tool in reaching great success. Failure and defeat are life’s greatest teachers but most people don't want to go there. Instead they choose to play it safe. Repeating the same safe choices over and over again. They believe that if they fly below the radar and make no waves, they attract no attention and no one will mock them for failing because they generally never attempted anything great, so they they are unlikely to fail (or succeed).

In the Network Marketing Industry that I work in it has become more and more important to have a social media presence. A lot of people will make many excuses to shy away from social media activity but what it really comes down to a lot of time is a fear of acceptance and the fear of failure. As they worry that if they fail more people will know. But the truth is if you really want to make your business work and grow and be more than mediocre you are going to have to embrace it as this is the way to really move your business forward.

I would prefer to work with people who have been in trenches, survived battle and come out the other side as they have amazing experience and perseverance.

To do business well, to be successful and be great leaders we need to stick our necks out a mile every day. We cant mourn our mistakes we must instead parlay them into gains. If we want to really stand out I believe its good to be edgy, have new ideas, make plans, do presentations, give advice, listen well, become a leader, and deliver all of this without fear of failure or rejection.
